Some people may ask - Who is this Johnny Ramone?
I had the honour of being his Personal and Business Manager for several years and was instrumental in his early successes in the UK.
It is now 2019 and I am thrilled to be working alongside Johnny once again. This time the projects include producing and promoting music with a view to raising funds for several of the UK's most cherished Military and Animal charities. We are grateful to Lady Lydia Carrington for allowing the use of some of her original unreleased songs for this project. In particular her song 'I'M COMING HOME' which I personally am in the process of negotiation with Her Majesty's Royal Marines, to be used as a fund-raising project for their widows and dependants, and those suffering because of their services to their Crown and Country.
Please allow me to introduce you all to my great friend and business partner
Johnny Ramone.
You probably all thought that he was a guitarist with an American Punk Group founded in New York (Queens District) in 1974.
You would all have been so wrong!
That was the American
Johnny Ramone of the Ramones Punk Band, who sadly passed away several years ago now.
The ORIGINAL Johnny Ramone is English, he is the Vocalist and Guitarist who founded the acclaimed pop band Johnny and the Strollers in 1961. His band made the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg) record charts in the mid 1960s.
His professional name was registered with Equity and the Musician's Union in the UK many years BEFORE the American Johnny Ramone was even heard of.
The ORIGINAL Johnny Ramone was born in the UK, in the county of Devon, and has family both sides of the Atlantic and is immensely proud to be an Anglo-American.
His Great Uncle was Henry Whitter from Fries (pronounced as freeze), Virginia, who recorded many songs in the 1930s. Banks Of The Ohio - The ballad of Tom Dooley - Little Brown Jug - among many others.
Henry's rendition of The Wreck of the Southern 'Ol '97 was one of American country music's first million sellers.
It was the irresistible call of the world of entertainment which was to eventually lured him back when he returned to civilian life after his years of professional military service with the Royal Air Force.
His natural love of music and singing has taken him to many parts of the world as a professional entertainer, including the United States of America, Canada, South Africa, Germany, Holland, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, and to every corner of his beloved United Kingdom. He has held executive positions in businesses and has had homes in the USA, the UK, and Holland.
During his chequered and illustrious career, he has achieved success with his Top Ten hit records on the Telstar label in Europe,
Comstock records of Arizona made him a successful and popular Nashville Country Music Star - his first singles air played and charted throughout the USA and Canada.
His recordings with A.I.M. Records are now being played worldwide on the Internet where he has become an acclaimed artist with over 62 million fans to date.
The ESR record label recorded him singing City of a Thousand Dreams which resulted in amazing airplay in every country in the world having a city of EXETER.
His Cabaret performances in such esteemed venues as the '' Talk of the Town '' in London were alongside scores of household names in the entertainment business - Tom Jones, The Silver Beatles (later the Beatles), Dame Shirley Bassey, Wayne Newton, Roy Orbison, The Kinks, Marmalade, Les Dawson, Tommy Cooper, Bob Monkhouse to name just a few.
Johnny was invited in 1983 by the BBC to produce a pilot programme of musical Hits and Headlines from the decades at their newly constructed BBC Radio Devon Studios in Exeter. That ''Pilot'' proved to be so popular that he was asked to continue for a further 8 years, before moving to the USA, where he was invited by leading Nashville producers and record labels to record his very first American Country Music Recordings. His amazing SIX-decades career is still flourishing with successes on the worldwide Internet where to date over SIXTY TWO MILLION fans are loving his voice and regularly are playing his records!
In 2006 Johnny moved from his oceanic home in Fort Lauderdale, Southern Florida to the serene leafy countryside of Cuffley, in Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom where he assisted aspiring artists to achieve their dreams. He is forever helping and advising them as he believes in the saying - ''KEEP MUSIC LIVE''.
He was for many years the respected musical director of Angel International Management in the USA, as well as being the C.E.O. of his own company J.R.E.C.(UK) based at Tiverton in Devon which, together with his late much-loved father, was one of the largest Entertainment Agencies outside of London.
We here at AIM proudly call him ''Mr Entertainment'' a title well deserved and earned over a period of his successful decades in the 'Business'.
Johnny has recently retired, after a heart attack, from live performances and moved back to his roots in the West Country of England, where he is now actively involved in producing and recording for the AIM record label.
We wish him long life, happiness, and good health, and thank him for his devotion to the world of music over the past 68 years.

Johnny's Nashville Hit - AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME - was the very FIRST American country music record ever to be played on National radio stations in what was then the old U.S.S.R. It was heavily featured on the German Democratic Republic (GDR) and led to offers for Johnny to tour Europe with his Show.
Johnny's great uncle was HENRY WHITTER - of ''Wreck of the old Southern 97'' fame amongst other great songs on the Okie label. In 1988 Johnny was invited to Nashville to record country music songs which had been written with him in mind. When the media discovered his 'Family Name' ties with Henry Whitter he was extensively featured in the Nashville press and CNN Television as having reconnected with Nashville.
STOP PRESS NEWS - 24TH DECEMBER 2015
